About Globe Designs
Globe Designs was founded by Lauren Scoins during the renovation of her own home, when she recognised a gap in the Central West market for high-quality, thoughtfully curated lighting. What began as a personal project quickly evolved into a bespoke lighting business based in Orange, dedicated to supplying unique, design-led, and custom lighting solutions for residential, commercial, and retail spaces.
With a refined eye for detail and a natural ability to balance form and function, Lauren brings a considered, design-focused approach to every project. Her passion lies in creating spaces that are not only visually striking but also practical and enduring. Whether you’re refreshing a single room, undertaking a full renovation, or starting from the ground up, Globe Designs offers tailored solutions to suit every stage of your project.
Lighting Design Consultations
Consultations available Tuesday-Thursday- bookings are essential. At Globe Designs, every project begins with a comprehensive consultation. This is a collaborative process where we review your plans in detail, discuss the intended use of each space, and consider key elements such as architectural features, furniture placement, natural light, and overall design aesthetic.
From there, our team develops a cohesive lighting concept tailored to your space. We carefully research and curate fittings, layering ambient, task, and feature lighting to achieve both functionality and atmosphere. Throughout the process, we present clear recommendations, provide multiple options, and invite your feedback to refine the design until it aligns perfectly with your vision.
Consultation Fees
We offer flexible consultation options depending on the scope of your project:
Initial Consultation – $200
A 60-minute in-showroom with Lauren and Katie to review your plans, ideas to discuss your space, and provide expert guidance and direction.
Lighting Design Package – $300
Includes initial consultation, a tailored lighting schedule and plan with curated fixture selections.
Comprehensive Lighting Design – From $500
A complete end-to-end service for larger or more complex projects, including in showroom consult, site visits, detailed lighting schedules and lighting plan, multiple design revisions, purchase coordination, collab and advise with the Electrician for install and ongoing support through the implementation phase.
All lighting selections and fitting purchases are seamlessly organised through Globe Designs, ensuring a streamlined process from concept to completion.
Consultation fees are redeemable on product purchases over a specified amount.
