Globe Designs completed the comprehensive lighting plan for 69 Sweetheart Drive, creating a considered balance between functionality and decorative illumination across both the internal and external spaces.

The lighting design was developed in response to the home’s architecture, with careful consideration given to the raked ceilings, architectural forms and strategically positioned skylights. Lighting was thoughtfully integrated to complement these features, using the ceiling planes and natural light sources to create depth, warmth and visual interest throughout the home.

The skylights play an important role within the interior, introducing natural light throughout the day while the considered artificial lighting scheme continues to enhance these spaces as the light changes. Fixtures and lighting positions were carefully selected to work harmoniously with the architecture, rather than compete with it.

Internally, a combination of functional and decorative lighting was carefully positioned to complement each space, while externally, lighting extends the design language beyond the home, highlighting key architectural features and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

The result is a cohesive lighting scheme that responds to both natural and architectural light, providing practical illumination while celebrating the home’s unique design and elevating its overall character.
